Saturday's ride this week started a wee bit earlier than our normal ride, an hour and a half earlier to be exact. This meant that light was a little lower and the temps a little colder for the start but with temps inching into the upper 50s by the end of the day, it was still a great day to ride.
Why so early? Well, the Bike Swap Meet later in the day of course, so the plan was to leave a little earlier than normal and take a quick spin out to Eagle.
With a slight tailwind, we double timed it out to Eagle for a slice of breakfast pizza and a little California dreaming thanks to a rad VW Microbus.
Spin back was equally as quick but with a little bit of a headwind the output was a bit more. This of course was cause for a quick ditch beer stop, in addition to that we also had candy hearts... why candy hearts? Well, I brought them down last week to have for Valentine's Day but then forgot to bring them into the shop. Rather than eat them all I decided that I would bring them along for the ride this week, they hit the spot for sure. That was it for the ride and I was in and out of the swap meet that I didn't get a single picture but I did pick up some radtastic Sto Mil socks, so there is that.
