A Revolting Situation

IMG_9273_A

A few weeks ago I picked up the Demo bike for 2020, the 2019 Giant Revolt Advanced 2, and Saturday was it's maiden voyage on gravel. I'll do a little bit of my initial thought on it once I've gotten a few more rides on, so look for that in the near future.

As mentioned in the last Blog, last weekend was the 5 year anniversary of the SMNDFBR but since it was rainy and miserable I waited until this week to bring some celebratory donuts.

Since it was supposed to be a fairly mild, if windy, day and we hadn't been out there in a hot minute Sprague was on the route for Saturday. Despite a fairly chilly and stiff headwind, it was a pretty decent day out on the gravel.

When in Sprague a stop at Traditions is a must, always good to bring a little business to the little guy. New on Saturday are Mexican specials, like these fish tacos that were pretty darn good after 20 or so miles fighting the wind.

With a stomach full of food, warmer temps and a fantastic tailwind; the ride back to Lincoln was much quicker than the ride out. It wasn't too long before we were back in town.

Some of us found our way to Method for post ride beverages and conversation as is a fairly frequent occurrence.

Not to brag about the popularity of the Saturday ride but every bunny was there!
